Travelstart and GIGM Partner to Enhance Air and Road Travel Convenience

Travelstart Nigeria, a leading online travel agency in Africa, and GIG Mobility (GIGM), a top provider of tech-powered intercity mobility services in West Africa, have partnered to revolutionize travel by making it more seamless via road and air. This collaboration aims to provide consumers with cross-platform booking capabilities, enhancing travel convenience.

With this new partnership, customers can now book GIGM bus transport through Travelstart’s platform and seamlessly book air travel via GIGM. This marks the first collaboration between road and air transport companies in Nigeria, streamlining the booking process for travelers.

The partnership was born from the need to address challenges faced by air and road travelers in Nigeria, empowering consumers to purchase air and bus transport tickets in one centralized location. Technology integration simplifies the booking process and offers a more efficient travel experience.

During a press conference to announce the partnership, Bukky Akomolafe, Country Manager of Travelstart Nigeria, expressed excitement about the collaboration. She stated, “We are thrilled to bring Travelstart and GIGM’s large customer bases the opportunity to book their air and road transport preference. At Travelstart, we aim to connect our customers from one place to another; road transport offers yet another way to journey to their final destination.”

Akomolafe highlighted that the partnership represents a significant advancement in making travel more accessible and hassle-free. GIGM and Travelstart now provide a comprehensive solution for travelers, whether embarking on a short intercity trip or an international journey. Customers can book their entire travel itinerary in one place, eliminating the inconvenience of visiting multiple websites.

Enahoro Okhae, CEO of GIGM, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “At GIGM, ensuring our guests’ comfort is paramount, and this partnership underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional service and convenience to our travelers. By leveraging our resources and technology, we simplify the travel planning process and enable individuals to focus on enjoying their journey.”

Both companies have committed to delivering unparalleled convenience, ease, and affordability to customers as the Nigerian transportation landscape continues to evolve. Joint support teams will assist with any travel inquiries or booking issues, ensuring a seamless travel experience from start to finish.
